The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) is the world’s leading weather forecasting and climatology body and a central component of the European infrastructure for meteorology and climate research.

Bonn was chosen by the ECMWF Council as the location of its European operations from 2021. It will be home to the Copernicus Earth program, which comprises the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS), Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) and the Copernicus Emergency Management Service (CEMS).

Render Vision is proud to have worked closely with Stefan Lippert Architects and the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure to create the 3d renders of this immensely important building. Our photorealistic images capture how the modern, stylish structure stands apart, yet blends intelligently into the nature around it.

As experts in architectural visualization, we understand the crucial role that accurate weather and atmospheric rendering plays in bringing a project to life. Through our collaboration with Stefan Lippert Architects and the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, we’ve demonstrated our dedication to producing photorealistic representations that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are scientifically accurate. Our innovative techniques and attention to detail enabled us to create images that reflect the balance between the building’s modern design and the surrounding environment, reinforcing the sustainable ethos of the ECMWF.
